Sarah and James

Where do I begin with Sarah and James? I hadn’t met this lovely pair until their wedding day on Saturday because of Covid, but I’m so thankful I got to be a part of their day. Sarah’s best friend is my hairdresser Milo at Milo's Salon, and after she had to postpone her wedding from April and lose her photographer, Milo came to the rescue. ‘He sent me your details and you were called Ginger Grace on his phone. (The first time I had my hair cut with Milo, he dyed it ginger for me!) And I just thought ‘Oh, it’ll be a mate with a camera. But when we saw your work it was exactly what we wanted!’ and thus, a few months later, here we are!

Milo, I have so much gratitude to you for giving me the opportunity to photograph Sarah and James’ day. I know that Sarah means the world to you. And Sarah and James, thank you so much for your trust, and for letting me creating magic.

I have to say, their day at Old Parish Rooms was just gorgeous. The venue always lends itself to small, intimate weddings, but honestly this small group of people couldn’t have been a nicer bunch. There was so much laughter, happiness and just overall good vibes all day and that’s truly a reflection of the couple. I am so grateful I could be a part of everything, you genuinely kicked my bank holiday weekend off with a bang!
