Fawkes Family

The gorgeous Fawkes family.

Where do I begin with this fabulous family? Kelly first enquired with me back in November of last year, eager to book in a family session with her husband, two sons, and young daughter, who she was hoping would be walking by the time of the photoshoot. Fast forward nine months and four postponed dates later due to bad weather, I finally got to meet this absolutely beautiful family! Kelly and Jules have been so wonderfully patient and accommodating, and it absolutely paid off with the sunset we were treated to at Saunton last night.

As I caught last light with them, photographing them all, it felt like I had known them forever. Kelly and Jules are the kindest souls, and the entire photoshoot just unfolded organically. For me, seeing the relationship between the boys and their one and a half year old sister was really special. After jumping off of the dunes, they turned down their rough and tumble natures and showed how calm they could be with her. From gently encouraging her into the sea and lifting her up over each wave, to doing their upmost to make her laugh. Photographing them all was just a pleasure!
