Thursday saw the most beautiful coastal wedding at the stunning Sandy Cove in Ilfracombe - with a military twist too!Unfortunately I hadn’t managed to meet Charlotte and Lewis in the run up to their day, but it needn’t have mattered, as they made us feel like part of the family as soon as we walked through the door. Charlotte had even prepared goodie bags for us all - a reflection of her selfless nature!

Their wedding was incredibly relaxed, just as they had hoped for, and the gorgeous misty sea view made for the most perfect backdrop. After the formal photos and before the wedding breakfast, Lewis had an outfit change, and the couple were welcomed in by @dc__sax, who got the party going.

Just before last light, my dad and their wonderful content creator @kapturedbykatharine drove the couple down to Mermaids Cove for a few couple portraits, before heading back to the venue. The indie band began playing and by the second song in, ties were already on heads and the dancefloor was alight with people busting shapes.
